YOUTH
BETTER
TOGETHER
UNBOUND
UNBOUND is the gathering of Bethany’s Student Ministry, and we are dedicated to opening up a place that is welcoming to all youth (grades 6-12). We pray UNBOUND is a place where students can create and/or deepen their relationships with God, other students, and a supportive church body.

Our ultimate goal is to grow closer to Christ and to share His love with God’s people in the local community, across state lines, and throughout the world. This is where the idea of UNBOUND comes from: it is the yearning to live as though the impact of our faith is not bound by any territorial limitation. In order to prepare the youth in our church family to go out and serve others, UNBOUND meets several times throughout the week.

At least once a week during the summer, members of UNBOUND pull together to serve the community in various ways. Previous excursions have included performing yard work for elderly members of the church and presenting goody bags to the staff at the local nursing home.
The middle school and high school groups are split up during this time. The middle school group meets in the Coffee Shop and the high school group meets in the large youth room area. Both are located on the third floor.
SUNDAY MORNINGS
LIFE GROUP
SUNDAY EVENINGS JOINT FELLOWSHIP
Since Sunday evenings church-wide have been freed up for family time and for various groups to meet, the youth do not meet every Sunday evening. But often throughout each month the youth will meet on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 p.m. to play basketball and/or volleyball in the Family Life Center. It’s a fun time of fellowship for the group.
The entire UNBOUND community meets together for an amazing time of fun and fellowship, tied together by a focused lesson.
When conditions permit, members of UNBOUND also travel to New Hope and Skyline Apartments every other Sunday throughout the year to engage in Bible lessons and recreational activities with many school-aged kids from that community. The purpose is to be the Church outside the walls of the church, and focus on intentional discipleship.
In addition to weekly fellowship and other regular service ministries, UNBOUND goes on at least two trips each year and participates in many other recreation and missions activities within the church body and the community.
